Illustration Friday: Crunchy


Fallen pine needles on the forest floor, crispy and crunchy under your feet.

The fresh, falling snow might muffle the sounds of the next passers-by.

I've always been a sucker for these Charlie Brown trees. They warm my heart.


One sepia pen, one white pencil, one brown paper envelope and five minutes.

    I've seen pine only in pictures...this one has charm to it. 5 mins art seems to be gorgeous!

    I sure do love what you do with brown paper. It's hard to believe, with a word like crunchy, something so delicate and poetic could come about. Leave it to you, girl!

    Great little tree. All Christmas trees need a good warm home don't they? And I love your banner, I'll have to read back and find the significance. Are you doing a painting for all 12 days? That would be magnificent!
