A Light bulb Moment

Remember the post I did the other day about finding the "Offerings" book in an unpacked box? Well, it spurred on an idea to make prints using my photos with inspirational quotes for Etsy and the two local shops I'm in. And I have to tell you, I love making them!
I call them "Potent Quotables." I plan to share them now and then on the blog. I already have one for tomorrow with a picture of my friend's cutest cat.
I love lightbulb moments!♥

Open to interpretation

Some of you know I spent the weekend with my dear friend KJ and her partner JB.
It was a magical time of good food, nature walks, taking pictures and making art. The three of us sat silently making collages, occasionally peeking to see what the others were doing and exclaiming with an ooh or aah as we watched the progress.
This is mine. I know what it says to me but I'd love to hear what it says to you.
Look at each element. What do they symbolize? How does this image make you feel?
I'd love to know your thoughts ;)
And if you haven't already see it, here is KJ's amazing collage. Her very first one!
I'll see if we can get her to show JB's as well.
Happy Monday!

Animal Wednesday: White Tiger Magic

This is a collage I did some time ago that I had forgotten about until an Etsy buyer ordered this card today. Here's what I looked up about white tigers when I used one in a painting I did for my nephew.

Tiger medicine represents passion/sensuality, silent solitary power, heightened sense of touch, and valor.

We could all use a little tiger magic in our lives now and then.

Happy Animal Wednesday my friends!
