Animal Wednesday: Rainy Day Cat

Jeeeeez Louise, when will this rain stop????

Okay, this may seem like a bit of a dark image coming from me but hey, enough already! A week of rain and my niece will be here in a day and a half and she isn't coming 3,000 miles to play in the freakin rain already!!

Okay, I'm fine. I feel better now.

Happy Animal Wednesday!

I hope it's dry wherever you are.

  5. Know that feeling!! Looks just like my kitty too! It seems to rain everyday here but at least it doesn't usually last too long and its warm too. Sending some sun your way!

  6. the sun is coming, lo. i personally guarantee it. in fact, i've made the necessary arrangements. so kick back and feel the sun on your face, enjoy the company of one of your favorite people, keep painting and drawing, take little trips, buy little presents for yourself, let all these grateful animals purr and woof your way, and every now and then remind yourself that you are one cool chick!

    this is official reporting.

  10. It is dry here........but that sais it all.
I can understand your despair, one week of rain would drive me crazy and would drive me completely nuts when my niece would come soon......
The image is sunny no matter the subject!!!
I am very curious now for the mural!!!!!! Hope to see it soon.
    Happy Animal Wednesday!

  13. It never rains in Southern California......You could send a little rain our way, we are concerned with fires here, though they rarely make the news.

I wasn't even aware Oklahoma had a problem until I got a horse, and now I am more fire aware (and have a trailer stashed to haul him out of harm's way).

After Katrina hit the news, I've made it policy to be able to transport anything that comes into my care-BEFORE it comes in. I'm rambling.

  14. Laurel I love this picture.

I totally forgot that your niece is coming to visit, have the best time.

I am sorry your Mom isn't with you anymore. I just spent the evening with my Mom. We all do an evening so she is never alone any day. I do Wednesdays.

    Thanks for your comments.

    Love Renee

  15. Doesn't seem particularly dark at all...just a little gloomy, but fair enough. I lived in Seattle for a year and a half where it was 43 degrees and raining 8 months of the year. I, and all the other midwesterners, felt suicidal by February. Here, after a week of brutal cold and snow, it's heading up to 78. We need the rain, but the sun and warmth sure is nice.

Oh--and I love the painting too!
