Animal Wednesday : Double-Dog Dare

A few years back I painted a baby's room with two full size horses on one wall and their little Corgi, Tess on the opposite wall. The texture was lumpy and difficult to get the fine detail but I think Tess approved! To see the horses on my website, click here. I always knew drawing on the walls would pay off :)

Happy Animal Wednesday!!

  1. I wonder if the real dog thinks that other dog is real too somehow. Or does he know it's just a real good portrait of himself?
Glad drawing on walls paid off! LOL
    Very well done art!

  3. Laurel you did such a great job. I love the horses too.

You are completely right when you say that people are such prisoners. I agree totally and I don't know why it is so hard to tell the truth and to own up to what you life is.

No one is perfect and no one has to pretend they are.

Keeping it real is the way to go.

    Love Renee xoxo

  17. I recently met what might be the world's cutest corgi puppy. I did a mural on a wall once OF a wall, a nice blue brick wall with red hibiscus. When it was time to paint over it, the red hibiscus was problematic.

  18. Don't ask me how you knew I was a raven. You have drawn me in your banner. I love it. Seriously love it and identify with it. It made me think of me immediately.

    Great job.

I like how you don't get involved with religion and politics and then come out with both barrels.

    Love you for it.

  24. This is so sweet! I had to laugh. A good friend of mine has a Corgi named Jono, and he is the sweetest pup! He's getting older, but still has the pep and loving ways from his younger days. Thank you for this darling piece.

    Happy Friday~

  25. Speaking of favourites, look at your own header.

More than that you are one of my favourites every single day.

The dragon is on her way, that is me sitting on top and I have room for you. Do you want to sit in front or behind.

    Love you. xoxox

  26. Oooh Renee said I had to ask for a dragon ride too!!1 Pleeeeaase???
Love your new header - it is wonderful!! Sarah

  27. Of course you can sit up front but then you are breaking the rules of age before beauty. Because now beauty will be first.

I say Sarah rides at the end because I think she would be less likely to fall off than I would.
