This atc was inspired by a card I bought with a photograph of dew on a prickly pear cactus. No matter if I scan it or photograph it, the sparkles just aren't showing up! It's really prettier in 'person.' (Done on the back of a recycled birthday card.)
Something quick and simple for this Monday. HCM!!!
wanna trade cactuteer? i will send you images of my new cards by e mail, i don't use my atc blog anymore, do it all n atcs4all.xx
ReplyDeleteHey, that's a neat illustration!!!! You cactusteers are so awesome with your Monday art!!! Hope you had a nice weekend Lolo. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty. I can see where the glitter is even if it isnt sparkling like it should.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I know what it means that they are so much prettier in person. But it does look beautiful
ReplyDeletehere too.
Kudos to you for recycling another card. We can imagine the sparkles. Judy
ReplyDeleteoooh, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome Lolo.
ReplyDeleteHCM!
i would not want to mistake this for a chair....
ReplyDelete:)
I love your header! That raven is beautiful. I like your dewy prickles - I bet it does look lovely with the sparkles.
ReplyDeleteI love how people are using their old cards to do new art on! It was a genius idea! This is very sweet...close up...love it!
ReplyDeleteThese sparkly things are so hard to scan or take pictures of!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is just to much light.....
I have a diffuser on my flash or sometimes I just put the work under a strong lamp and than take a picture. Or outside without flash but with the right daylight.
But believe me I can imagine how wonderful the ATC is in real!
Quick and simple, that is good!
I just returned home and slept for 2 hours, after lunch I will sleep some more as I am pretty exhausted.......
love & HCM!
>M<

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!!!
Hugs
Diana
Beautiful soothing color...MMMMMM!
ReplyDeletePopped in to say hello! I stumbled across your blog and love your art. I've always had a thing for sparkling cactuses!
ReplyDeletedear lo, middle made a map of blogland lane and asked everyone to choose the plot location they want (different from your house #)
ReplyDeletenot able to tolerate the thought of you not living next door to me, i snatched a plot for you! if you don't like the location, sniff sniff, i understand.
:)
DEW-fresh as the morning dew. Skip to my loo, through the dew, careful not to step in poo.
ReplyDelete(hah, that's pretty accurate for my backyard....)
HCM on HAW.
ReplyDeleteYou are so perfect. I loved your comment about not my type. Boy do you ever know me. But of course you should, you are my raven sister.
ReplyDeleteI love it, how as soon as you write something, I nod my head up and down.
Love Renee xoxo
No worry on the scan result. But the little painting here saying a lot.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cactus and it's with great delicious details....
I can't resisit, I must go near...and I wish I am an ant scrolling up and down on the cactus for a day tour. Ha..Ha..
"quick and simple"... but effective. What an attractive piece, I've been back to look at it a few times already!
ReplyDeletedelicate little jewels. i love this. it reminds me of how the dew sometimes looks like smooth crystal beads. i just wanna pick them all up and string them.
ReplyDeleteinstead of rows of pearls, i'd prefer rows and rows of delicate glass beads.
i love that you put the kimono raven up for the header. so beautiful.
