Animal Wednesday: The Amazing Thundershirt

Here's my little Emma wearing her Thundershirt because she heard thunder in the distance and she's terrified of it.
Right here she's lying at my feet after we cuddled for a while with her shirt on.

Is that more thunder???? Ears at maximum radar.

I think I'll go in my bed and bark at dogs walking by.

yes, more thunder! I knew it!

No worries though. Mom is in the studio with me and I have on my amazing Thundershirt!

* Note to my friends with dogs with fear or barking issues. Go to this website and watch their videos. I was a skeptic but decided to try one since they give a 100% money back guarantee. I can't say enough about it! My husband thinks it changes her personality too much as if she's drugged. That's the point!!! It's valium in a jacket!

Happy Animal Wednesday!

  2. Thanks for the email. Sorry you cant access my blog. Wonder how many others cant. I am going to see if I can comment on yours now. Poor Emma. Annie is now terrified of Thunder. She wasnt until I screamed one night when it hit so close without warning and sounded like it blew something up. I feel bad because I did it to her. Bad Mommy. sigh Cris in Oregon

  10. Ah! Thank you for the testimonial. I have a scaredy-dog and the Thundershirt was recommended, but I've been putting off getting one. Need to stop procrastinating. Emma looks quite spiffy in hers!

  13. I wonder if they have one large enough for mydog. She hates thunder and lightening. I am glad Emma has been soothed no matter how.

  17. That is so cute! Babies love to be swaddled, so I am thinking this Thunder Shirt for dogs is a great idea. And as long as mine isn't white and accompanied by two men escorting me to Happy Acres, I would love one, too. Emma is adorable! xox Pam

  18. Our Lucky is terrified of thunder as well. He's a big dog who insists on trying to climb into my lap when there is a thunder storm, which happens here every night, with day time heating. We had a huge storm the night you phoned.

I give Lucky Valerian capsules when it gets too bad. Really, really works. Swaddling sounds perfect, as well...Emma is so cute! I once had a dog like her a long, long time ago...xo

  19. One of ours is frightened of loud noises just like Emma. Here it's not thunderstorms but she hates fireworks. I'm going to go to that site and buy a coat for Roxy. I checked it out and with Emma's endorsement too, I think it looks like a good deal.
