Skywatch Friday: Phoenix Rising

I was just closing the door when I spotted this cloud formation out of the corner of my eye over my neighbor's roof. To me, it looks like a spirit rising , possibly Phoenix or someone's beloved pet. It could be.

For other wonderful glimpses of clouds, go here.

Happy Skywatch Friday!

You've captured it perfectly, Laurel. I particularly like that there's so much sky compared to the sliver of landscape ... with the cloud, obviously, how could it be otherwise?

That is amazing and surely a sign. I'm thinking it has something to do with you returning "home" and rising again from where you came from.

Remember, rebirth is not always a ball of fun, but it is amazing nonetheless. Here's to all of us, rising from our own ashes.

It looks like a Phoenix rising to me. I read one of your comments at another blog and had to stop by and say Hi. I hope all is well.

It certainly could be. What ever it certainly lifts my spirits just looking at it.

wow, very cool, I love clouds. my neighbor once asked what I was staring at, the sky of course, he thought I was nuts, which I am.

I haven't started anything for the move except cleaning out one box from out last move. I think I'm in denial. Our dogs haven't been through a move before so not sure how they're gonna react, especially since they're velcro dogs now as it is, having been shelter dogs.

To the cat it's old hat, she loves hotels and room service. If my husband isn't around to help I think I'm gonna ship everything including the animals, there's a new pet airline, petairways.com.

sorry this is long, but good luck with everything, hope you continue to post on the flipside.

wow...that is inspiring, light and uplifting. Silly, but I thought "That would make for a pretty luggage tag" as I am always looking for something unique :-)

And just like the fool in the tarot deck you must take the step, believe me there will be ground under your feet.
