Skywatch Friday: Double Delight

This will be my last Skywatch post until I get to my new place back east. I thought it would be appropriate to show the last sunset I photographed when my uncle was here 2 weeks ago. The sky went from a gorgeous twilight lavender to a blazing sunset in a matter of twenty minutes.

Talk about the right place at the right time!

I'm looking forward to posting photos from the other coast soon.

Until then, check here for other skies around the world...and thanks for stopping by to enjoy the scenery here!

Those are beautiful shots. I don't know about the east coast, but here on the west we get some really great sunsets for sure. I invite you to come fly through my sucker holes in Coastal BC. - Margy

I know you have told me a million times, but since chemo I can't retain a thing.

Last skywatch, when are you going?

I loved Brian's story. Poor him, I would have been so ill. That is when I pull my top up over my mouth and nose and say I am cold.

I recognize that the sky's the limit but I miss your paintings. What gives Ms. L?

So exciting, the summer soltice sounds like it will be amazing.

And you and a bunch of other women, how amazing.

I am not on chemo right now, thank God. I am on an estrogen inhibitor, because chemo is very hard on the heart and my heart needs a rest.

Love you.

Have a safe and wonderful trip.

The skies on the east coast are definitely beautiful too- so I look forward to seeing your beautiful shots of them when you get to your new place- and, of course, I look forward to your posting paintings once you settle in and unpack the art supplies!
Happy, safe journey.

Life is sweet dear raven sister.

I am so excited for you. Oh my God it is going to be such a great trip.

Now remember the wine will go up faster through a straw.

Have you got enough tranquilizers for the family members.
