Illustration Friday : Celebrate Little Things

Waiting, waiting, waiting...

for the turn of the key...

and then,

Emma does her happy dance

because I'm home!

That's enough of a reason for her to celebrate. Lucky me!!

( a sweet reminder by Val Gal who misses her loving companion, Ratty.)

  7. Sweet! I can almost hear the tumping tail!

My kitties, they do another dance, weaving between my ankles, doing "wheelies" so my fingers can ruffle the fur on their backs, or flopping down in front of me asking for a belly rub.

Disco is the only one that greets me like a dog, he stands on his hind legs and uses my thigh like a scratching post (he is only marking me with his sweaty paws...a kitty thing).

  24. Hee heeeeee, soooo cute! I wish I could have met the little dear. But I feel I know her.

Joey waits for me too, but he doesn't do the happy dance, he just yells at me and does figure eights between my feet so I can't go anywhere... not fast, anyway.

    Adorable drawing!!!
