KJ...yep, colored pencils work really well on brown paper. They have to be good pencils though, like Prismacolors! I'm going to get you into this...you'll love it :)
This is beautiful! I love the theme, too! Just how are these made? Are they all handmade, or do you buy the tags and add your fabulous illustrations? This is so lovely!
wow i LOVE your paisley-patterned cactus... this pattern is so Iranian... did you know it's taken from a bent cypress? this tree is the symbol of life and eternity...
