I didn't get a chance to take many photos because of all the road construction while we were driving cross-country, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity at this Utah rest stop. Utah was where I thought for sure we were all going to be killed by those crazy drivers on those hairpin turns through the mountains!
At least the scenery was pretty here and there ;P
For more skies to ogle, go to Skywatch Friday!
What a gorgeous and far-reaching sky! How different parts of the USA are.
ReplyDeleteReally nice, thanks for sharing. It's great to visit other places without even leaving the studio.
ReplyDeleteWOW, WOW, WOW! Utah blew me away when I traveled E to W twenty years ago. You captured the magic. I hope your travels have been fun and safe.
ReplyDeletePeace and joy to you ~M
What lovely images in the last post. Hope you are getting on well in your new abode. It is always hard moving and leaving old friends behind, but great to make a new start. I love the crows in the bar. We used to play that at school but we called it "chinese whispers". Great sky here. Utah looks like a huge open land.
ReplyDeletelo, this is beautiful. i've only been in utah once (saint george) and i remember how vast and stunning it all seemed, kind of like a prayer....
ReplyDeletei am so glad you are home and near.

I always love seeing those big puffy clouds. What big sky country you were in.

Weren't the skies and wide open spaces awesome Lolo? I loved that best of our travels. I have so many photos of skies, clouds, and wide open praries.
ReplyDeleteThats a great photo. I like the way the clouds look like someone is dangling them on a string.
ReplyDeleteLolo: That is a neat sky over the mountain, thanks for sharing from your trip.
