Cactus Monday: Floundering in the West

No matter how many times I've been to the desert, it always amazes me when I see those silly fish fly by. I mean, where are they going and what's their hurry?

Happy Cactus Monday Cactuteers!!

  2. I am reading a book called "Life's Matrix- A Biography of Water" which if you are interested in matters scientific, yet written for the math challenged, I commend to you. Anyway, the book points out that the boiling and freezing points of waters vary according to pressure and- and I am finally coming to the point here- that there is a point on the continuum where water can be liquid and gaseous at the same temperature eand pressure. Those fish may be traveling in such a curious part of phase transition land.

  12. I believe it's quite clear that they're rushing off to the brokerage offices. I'm certain their investment portfolio's are as unstable as mine! When we chose worm futures as the place to be, well positioned 'twixt good times and bad, who among us thought to factor in varying pressures? Not I! :D
