Cactus Monday: Kaleidoscope

Often times I have a picture in my head of what I'd like to draw or paint.

And often times it comes out nothing at all like the image in my head.

I guess at the very least I could call today's attempt 'a day of coloring!'

I just couldn't for the life of me get this one right.

Happy Cactus Monday anyhoodle!

  7. You are no longer allowed to apron wring!

This directive comes from a sacred place way high.

It is just too silly for you to criticize your vast talent.

This is a healthy happy cactus.

    With love

  8. The hues of blue and green are so complimentary to each other. Kaleidoscope is the perfect title for this painting. It truely reminds me of the cascading colors as you turn the tube of a kaleidoscope. HCM. Thank you for you comment on my blog. Judy

  12. It's amazing how we criticize our own work! I can turn myself inside out doing just that.

I love the cactus and I think it's completely "right"! Very serene and peaceful, yet strong and filled with power. It's lovely.
