"We begin to find and become ourselves when we notice how we are already found, already truly, entirely, wildly, messily, marvelously who we were born to be.”

Cactus Monday: These boots...
...are made for walking in the desert and showing off their BLING!!
Terrible scan. I can't figure out this new darn software! The photo came out worse. Oh well, it's pretty shiny in person. Happy Cactus Monday!
See, I could have been fifth, if not for the opportunist. But our leader deserves these for being so cleaver. The drawing is wonderful, can’t wait for the next comment contest. I did not even notice the note about the 5th comment until I read Teri’s and wondered what she was talking about. I need to pay more attention. The boots are such a creative idea. And the painting is fab! Judy
WHOOHOOOOOOO It pays to be an opportunist! I have to agree if they are made for walking in the desert then they need to come to AZ with me. I will make sure they are happy clomping around with me.
Thanks Lolo, you are such a sweetie. Sorry Judy. The early cactus gets the boots. lol

Of course I could cheat and comment again so I am fifth. LOL
Teri, I'll consider you to be an opportunist and not a cheater okay?
The boots are yours! They belong out West ;
I can see the green glitter on those boots. Terrific idea for Cactus Monday stomping around the desert!
WHOOHOOOOOOO It pays to be an opportunist! I have to agree if they are made for walking in the desert then they need to come to AZ with me. I will make sure they are happy clomping around with me.
Thanks Lolo, you are such a sweetie.
Sorry Judy. The early cactus gets the boots. lol
Love your Bling-Boots, LOLO!!! Those sequins look so real!!!

Wonderful! I missed your illo for Illustration Friday theme Caution. Like it very much!
You'd fit right in, in Texas with those fancy boots!
I love, love, love your Banner Lolo!
haha this are sooooo cute
so what exactly do you think about people who leave multiple comments?
does it matter if the comments are clever or not?
:)
I love multiple comments from people.
That means I'm (or my work is) memorable!
;)
yes! yes! it means you're memorable. it likely also means the commenter adores you.
of course, there are those egotists and bored individuals who leave comments just so they can read them again and again.
but you are memorable and right. and adored.
:)
Just to let you know that I was holding your banner in my hands today. Nathan was like wow, that is nice Mom.
I must agree with him after all he is a very smart man.
Thank you so much Laurel, I love it.
Love Renee xoxo
Dang it-I'm number 24 Remember those Nocona Boot ads for women's boots? I loved those ads-real art.
Probably not really accurate though-my boots tend to have a layer of dust and often worse things on them.
OOOOh rockin! I feel a series in the making??? If so I would like to reserve a pair of size 8/9 in snakeskin...LOL :) This just goes to show...you can take a our Lolo out of the west ...but you can't take the west out of our Lolo!!!
