Koi Soup

As I was cleaning up after dinner tonight I couldn't resist one more sweet, broth-soaked baby carrot. As I was reaching in for my third, I stopped myself when the vision of a koi pond came into focus.

Hallucinations can occur when one over-indulges, even on healthy stuff!

Damn. This is one good soup.

  11. This is the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit. A common greeting for the season is "to have plenty of fish every year" - as "fish" sounds like the word for "extra" in Chinese.

This would have been a fitting CNY soup!

  17. Okay, eating the Koi Pond is bad enough, and I have an overly active imagination, so I can ONLY GUESS where the beans comments were going to....or should that be TOOT????
