Okay, boring!! I'm running out of cactus creativity. I don't know how some of you manage to keep things so interesting and fresh. Maybe I need to go back to the west. Just kidding, I love it here ;).

  2. I think it's rather unique - a mosaic piece, but only it is painted.

  3. I really like this mosaic look. Creative. I think sometimes the art pieces we are "so, so" about have a real positive response from others. Yes, Marianne is right. I get ideas from the other cactus artists, I also use Flickr email to other photographers and ask if I can use their photos as reference material, that helps me get ideas and gives some positive vibes to other photo artists. You keep up the good creative work, Judy HCM...PS I love all the photos you post of where you lived before and your new digs. Helps to get to know other bloggers.

  8. Looks like you are still 'growing' some awesome cactus to me! I just read a few of your recent postings. How wonderful that you and your siblings were reunited...what a time that must have been...bet the goodbyes were emotional but what a memorable get together. Loved your circus illustration, so light and whimsical! I LOVE your landscapes with the clouds! I have a cloud fetish you know!!!! Awesome! Thanks for stopping by my site and leaving a comment. I get so few now since I have had difficulty being regular about leaving comments and posting daily.

  10. This is not boring at all. It shows your creative spirit. I do know how you feel about coming up with cactus ideas every week. Not having them growing in our area makes it difficult to be inspired for a weekly illio.

  12. Ir is really beautiful, it reminds me a lot of venecita, I do not know if you know what it is, there are small irregular pieces of mosaic, from different colors used to decorate fountains and also used a lot in portugal and brazil.

    Bye bye

  13. I like it a lot. A sort of almost abstract cactus. By the way re: round robin bk pages that I recently completed. Karen of Thread Story was right. Those were pages from Katie Jane's round robin project called Girlfriends and I was supposed to mail it next to Karen in Chicago. I got mixed up as i am also in SoulSisters.

  20. What?! I love it! It's fresh and fun. I can see it as tiling in a sidewalk or patio in the SW.
