Not boring at all, just amazed how you came up with this one again!Maybe it is more difficult for us who don't see real cacti around, I just have a few in my kitchen.......I get inspired by all the others!prickly hugs! ;)HCM!
I think it's rather unique - a mosaic piece, but only it is painted.
I really like this mosaic look. Creative. I think sometimes the art pieces we are "so, so" about have a real positive response from others. Yes, Marianne is right. I get ideas from the other cactus artists, I also use Flickr email to other photographers and ask if I can use their photos as reference material, that helps me get ideas and gives some positive vibes to other photo artists. You keep up the good creative work, Judy HCM...PS I love all the photos you post of where you lived before and your new digs. Helps to get to know other bloggers.
Wow Lolo, I think this is a VERY creative idea. You could use it for a table top.Should I send you some cacti photos for inspiration? lolHCM
I LOVE this mosaic... and agree with Teri that it would make a great table top or planter ot trivet or....HCM!!!!
boring? hardly.at first i thought you used glass for this. that's how real it looks to me.i think you are bound for glory...:)
oh no, NOT! My dad used to make mosaic tables and this reminds me of him. Thanks! Love the colors, too.
Looks like you are still 'growing' some awesome cactus to me! I just read a few of your recent postings. How wonderful that you and your siblings were reunited...what a time that must have been...bet the goodbyes were emotional but what a memorable get together. Loved your circus illustration, so light and whimsical! I LOVE your landscapes with the clouds! I have a cloud fetish you know!!!! Awesome! Thanks for stopping by my site and leaving a comment. I get so few now since I have had difficulty being regular about leaving comments and posting daily.
This is not boring at all. It shows your creative spirit. I do know how you feel about coming up with cactus ideas every week. Not having them growing in our area makes it difficult to be inspired for a weekly illio.
I agree with the rest...its so Creative!!!Very COOL!!It does inspire the likes of me to do something more...HCM, Lolo!!!
Ir is really beautiful, it reminds me a lot of venecita, I do not know if you know what it is, there are small irregular pieces of mosaic, from different colors used to decorate fountains and also used a lot in portugal and brazil.Bye bye
I like it a lot. A sort of almost abstract cactus. By the way re: round robin bk pages that I recently completed. Karen of Thread Story was right. Those were pages from Katie Jane's round robin project called Girlfriends and I was supposed to mail it next to Karen in Chicago. I got mixed up as i am also in SoulSisters.
Not at all boring, lovely infact!
You did good.On the other hand I don't know how you guys can keep coming up with stuff.Love you.Renee xoxo
what boring? no ways, delightful, i am getting behind with bloggy comments these days. eeek.
On some cake contest show the lady made tiles out of sugar- I would have eaten them before they ever got used.
funny but I think it's terrific. not boring at all. clever and inspiring. sort of zentanglish, mosaicish, lovely.
I love the delicate shadings and tones on this...it's really lovely. And not boring at all!
What?! I love it! It's fresh and fun. I can see it as tiling in a sidewalk or patio in the SW.
I didn't think it was boring at all - very beautiful and peaceful. That's why I started my nursery rhymes..it gives me an idea each week so I'm not just last minute like I usually am.
Even I would know that you have to take care of Laurel's loving compansions of so many years. Your sweet animals.Love you.Renee xoxo
The colors caught my eye, i was drawn in. They are the colors of the sea...of the P'town sea - which you will be seeing soon! take a walk on the beach for me,
holey moley batman! she's packing her art supplies and heading to ptown. wait until she sees that ptown light over the bay.to be continued....
Sorry to be late. This is a cool cactus art. I love its cheerfulness. Happy belated cactus monday!
