Neil, the distressed background is actually scrapbooking paper. I paint on that a lot and I have many to choose from. I have no clue how to do anything digitally. I'd love to pop over to Toronto and have you teach me! Thanks so much for stopping by with encouraging words.
Holy Toledo! This cactus piece is perfect in every way. Love the colors, the distressed background the composition and of course your cactus guy is not only wonderfully rendered, it's whimsical and adorable and Halloweenish... and let's not forget... ravens are on it!!! It's got it all!!
