    You have been busy too I can see.

    You are starting to experiment with distressed textures, which pleases me greatly. Like the last one as well. If Monet had visited Georgia Okeefe in Taos you might see something like this.

    Neil, the distressed background is actually scrapbooking paper. I paint on that a lot and I have many to choose from.
    I have no clue how to do anything digitally. I'd love to pop over to Toronto and have you teach me!

    Holy Toledo! This cactus piece is perfect in every way. Love the colors, the distressed background the composition and of course your cactus guy is not only wonderfully rendered, it's whimsical and adorable and Halloweenish... and let's not forget... ravens are on it!!! It's got it all!!

    This needs to be a Halloween card, don't you think?
