Seed 2...Replenishing Her Spirit

I had to post this detail from a painting I showed here over a year ago called, "Replenishing Her Spirit." I looked at her and thought what a perfect example of "seed" for this week. She now resides with another artist somewhere in Upstate New York, hopefully bringing the new owner a bit of joy.

You can see my first entry here.

  18. Now that's one of those serendipitous things - I found this the other day when I was tidying my studio, I printed it out on posh paper (hope you don't mind)when I first saw it :-) it's one of my favourite images all time. Thank you for your comment on my blog, one of the nicest things anyone's ever said to me :-)

  19. she is a beauty; her spine is perfect and I am sure the present owner gazes on her and ponders her hibernation and promise as a seedling

  20. Laurel, it was great to hear from you and I may have said this before, but this is the painting that first drew me to you. I have it in my screensaver folder and see it often :) Btw, I loved your song list -it played along while I did my yoga practice -such love-filled songs, many which took me back to my youth.

    Peace and joy ~Michelle
