"We begin to find and become ourselves when we notice how we are already found, already truly, entirely, wildly, messily, marvelously who we were born to be.”
~ Anne Lamott~
This is just beautiful. You do some wonderful things with patterned paper! It makes me want to try. Is the paper thick enough to allow paint? Must be or you wouldn't be doing it. I love the words of wisdom.
love the words and the image. i just went on an open studio tour and saw some lovely wooden carved buddha's as this lovely lady's studio. I like the way they remind me of peace and that peace is a choice.
This is sooooo perfect for this time of year....soothing and relaxing and a reminder not to get caught up in all the bedlam and madness of unnecessary things. Lovely!!!
I love your work, Lolo!! This one is perfect for me right now...there are so many functions to attend between now and Christmas! Your words and painting remind me to find the quiet spot within.
I love the tranquility of this piece.... it is something I constantly need to work at....and as Suki wisely says, "Peace is a choice"... but sometimes, one forgets that!
Sorry I missed you last night, "BS"....
Love to you, "SH", "Princess" and "Fear the Ear" - ha-ha!!!!
