My good blogging buddy and talent extraordinaire, Kim Coles has started a funnier, hipper meme and she has tagged me as a participant. Here are the questions she posed, and my anwers.
1.) Voted most likely to:
Dance to the beat of my own drum. I'm not a follower.
2.) regrets
I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention. No really, regrets hold you back. Let em' go!
3.) It's a Monday, you're tired and don't feel like working, so you:
Treat it like any other day of the week and do...nothing!
4.) You would prefer to have dinner with:
Quiet eaters! My family is obsessed with noisy chewing. It's really sad. Everyone is afraid to eat with me.
5.) If you were going bald, you would:
Kill myself. Fat and bald would be too much to live with.
6.) You lay awake at night, pondering:
What was I thinking when I said I'll give up wine for a year?
7.) If you were forced to share a cubicle, the most important thing you'd look for is:
An escape hatch! I need wide, open spaces with fresh air and no co-workers.
8.) What is most likely to be found in the trunk of your car?
A huge bag of bird seed. My feeders are on the front lawn and it's easier to keep the seed in the car. Besides, it makes an awesome air freshener!
9.) Favorite "Spinal Tap" moment:
As a freelance person and one who goes to the beat of my own drum, I can relate to this conversation Nigel had about jobs!
Nigel Tufnel: [on what he would do if he couldn't be a rock star] Well, I suppose I could, uh, work in a shop of some kind, or... or do, uh, freelance, uh, selling of some sort of, uh, product. You know... Marty DiBergi: A salesman? Nigel Tufnel: A salesman, like maybe in a, uh, haberdasher, or maybe like a, uh, um... a chapeau shop or something. You know, like, "Would you... what size do you wear, sir?" And then you answer me. Marty DiBergi: Uh... seven and a quarter. Nigel Tufnel: "I think we have that." See, something like that I could do. Marty DiBergi: Yeah... you think you'd be happy doing something like-... Nigel Tufnel: "No; we're all out. Do you wear black?" See, that sort of thing I think I could probably... muster up. Marty DiBergi: Do you think you'd be happy doing that? Nigel Tufnel: Well, I don't know - wh-wh-... what're the hours?
10.) Based on your work history, the job you SHOULD HAVE right now is:
Kept woman.
11.) Your imaginary band name is:
Ricki Lee Wanabe
Anyone who wants to join in, please do! I'm tagging Sketched Out, Perriette, Juj and Steve because they're all good sports, and they're funny!! However, I won't be offended should they decline. No pressure. Really. None. Okay then.
Hilarious, great, great answers! Thanks for tagging me - this will be fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, and by the way - LOVE love love all the work you've been posting lately. I don't know where the (censored) I've been! but I'm off to have a proper look now...
Hee hee, great answers. You're a funny, clever lady.
ReplyDeleteHowever, on #6. let's not be rash! (0;
Self-imposed rules (if it was self-imposed) were meant to be broken, or at least modified. Maybe just on the weekends...
...and, I'd be honored to accept the challenge, and certainly the nice compliment.
Thanks for taking part in my crzy made up list! I really enjoyed reading all your answers. Especially the one about the escape hatch. I need to look for one of those at my office so I can get away from all the 20 year olds who have never seen Spinal Tap.
ReplyDeleteFunny...I would like to read everyone's answers. How can I do that since I'm not a blogger on this site...only an adoring sister!
ReplyDeleteWho ever said I was a good sport?!
ReplyDeleteLove the "kept woman" answer. That fits me, too. Now I'll have to come up with something else.

Mines posted - enjoy! - and thanks again...

ReplyDeleteFixed my #11 too - tho I have to say, I think it would have been fun to see where it all ended up had we played the game of 'Pass It On' ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm still grinning - you're a riot and so darn honest! These meme's are so much fun since we get to learn a little more about one another each time. Btw, I love your new banner, it's so uplifting during these dark winter days.
