IF : Momentum in Nature

The soft free-fall of a feather swoops from side to side, being carried by it's own momentum, soon to be swirled into the ripples of a pond gathering it's momentum from the tossing of a pebble.

Two quiet forces of nature equaling a feeling of peace.

  20. You always move me, especially with your momentum piece ;] This has a gentle and yet wise feel to it. I love how you captured the quality of water rippling. Btw, I thought of you this weekend while camping along the beach on the Olympic Peninsula. The weather was picture perfect and the coastline where we stayed was magical. I thought of you because of the many "beach" scenes you've shared with us. Oh, thank you so much for your tips on publishing. I will indeed get your assistance as I move further in my project.

    Peace.

  22. Wow! This one is awesome. Your work is so great! Thanks for your comment on my post this week. Your the only one who sent any thoughts my way for that post. Lolo is Solo! I think I messed by posting the lightning clips. It probably really slowed down the page load time. Again, thanks. Your illo this week....bravo.

  23. Hi! Finally got our internet hooked up about an hour ago. I missed seeing all of the wonderful art the past week or two! We are getting settled in slowly, and on the down side of things, Ted hurt his back really bad. He has barely been able to move for a couple of days now. Trying to stay positive here... so much to do. If I don't post this week, I promise to next week. It was nice to see such a peaceful painting, love the reflection and the softness.

  24. I think of an object becoming faster, and gaining power as the momentum finds it's target, and then I see your painting. You've made me see momentum in a completly different way. So beautiful and hypnotic this piece Laurel, and original!
