Animal Wednesday: Sort of Zen

In every sentient being is the pure Buddha-Mind.
So every sentient being has the potential to become awakened.

THE BUDDHA TAUGHT US TO DO THE RIGHT THING IN LIFE AND
TO WORK WITH GREAT EFFORT ON OUR ENLIGHTENMENT.
PRACTICE LOVE, COMPASSION, JOY AND EQUANIMITY.
A GOOD HEART, WARM FEELINGS AND KINDNESS ARE THE ESSENCE OF THE TEACHINGS OF THE BUDDHA.

But then my mother wonders, little one, why do
you still bite my visitor's feet?

And then there's Bliss. Zen mind, Zen spirit. But not towards the dog.
I love them both.

Happy Animal Wednesday!

  3. Oh these pictures makes me warm and fuzzy inside :)
Yes they do have the Buddha in them!
And they have to be a little mischievous at times in order not to blow their cover ;)
Wish I could sit in that sun with them for a while.........
    Happy Animal Wednesday!

Seeking more Zen myself Anne :)

  9. I'm all for balance and zen! :) I always wonder what my dogs/cats are thinking when they get in the 'sitting in a patch of sunshine zone'. Maybe a little critter mantra. It's very peaceful to watch. xox
