Illustration Friday: Edge

We stand on edge of
Forever overlooking
Our frayed existence

  1. A bag lady! It's like seeing an old friend.

Her hair is so unique and so realistic. She looks to me to be in thought, weighing whatever edge keeps her in or, maybe, protects her. It makes me wonder how I feel about edges. Frayed is an interesting word . I've never thought of a life as frayed, but it makes sense

More bag ladies please, lo? Maybe even a book? :-)

    Love love & love

  4. She looks down over the edge into the blue sea...she may be feeling sad or lonely, but in a second, she will look up, turn to her right and see the beautiful shooting star....which will fill her heart with warmth and joy, inspiration and hope.

    Beautiful work dear BS!

  7. I always like your bag ladies. They would make a great compilation for a self-published book like Lynn just did.

    1. I did that collage a couple of years ago. Still a favorite. It would be wonderful if butterflies could survive in the snow. Think how colorful our winters would be!

  10. Robin's comment gave me chill bumps...how many times do we forget to look up and see the wonder around us. I can totally relate.

Thanks for another brilliantly rich bag lady...:)
