I love making cards! I have a line of these collage cards that I keep adding to. There are so many copyright free image sources out there waiting to be made into something. Anyway, these funny cards fly out of my studio and help me pay the rent so I have a place to do my art. I love it when that happens :)
Jello anyone?
I love the image. Jello brings me back to so many childhood memories.
ReplyDeleteI love this sort of humor/art. Poor Nan, I'm sure her jello was very tasty and what a nice presentation! I hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteHave a splendid weekend.
I love these kinds of cards. Seriously, there aren't enough of them out there. I think you need the right blend of imagination, irreverence, and an eye for vintage pieces. Great work! :)
ReplyDeleteHumorous and creative. What fun!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaa...some people are just too picky about their desserts. Love it.
ReplyDeleteWell, some people will not eat anything which moves. More for me! Pass the jello.
ReplyDeleteThat jello mold is too wonderful to touch, really.
ReplyDeleteNice card !
This is a very lovey and elegant piece. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHappy friday!

Poor Nan, people just don't get her do they? Very fun illo:)
ReplyDeleteAww, poor Nan! I'd buy her jello! :) Great illo.
ReplyDeleteThose things are hell to unmould, that's why.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! Beautiful work :) (Eating unknown jello is kinda' scary; kind of like when the kids in my classroom bring in homemade birthday cakes!)
ReplyDeleteLovely collage!! Unique style!
ReplyDeleteImagine my surprise to find that the completely indistinct - or so I thunked! - project created in my origami class, was actually an exact replica of Nan's Jell-O! :D
ReplyDeleteDo you have red jello? :) With bananas inside? :))))
ReplyDeleteExcellent, really made me laugh! Fantastic that it helps you pay the bills too!
ReplyDeleteEverything tastes better with Jello! I love this!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of granny. She always made a jello thingie. We would pretend to eat it by dumping some of it in the trash when she wasn't looking. Great card!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery funny! The ultimate rejection! I love this collage.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she should try putting pineapple chunks in it... love the dry humor! One time (when we were kids) my brother and I decided that we were going to eat our entire dinner without chewing, we must have been having soup or something that night. Well, anyway, for dessert we had jello with pineapple and my brother choked on it. Kids sure are dumb sometimes!
ReplyDeleteGreat collage-ing Studio! Keep it up!
ReplyDeletemaybe a lil whip cream next time migh due lov ur images and her predicment about her jello
ReplyDeleteI miss eating jello. Now if I ate it I'd be so wired, I'd be attach to the ceiling. That looks fun...making little collages. This one is funny.
ReplyDeletea nice one
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! I don't recall seeing these ards from you, but I love it! Glad you can sell 'em too.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and delicate. I love the old fashion style! :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of when someone shows up at the family reunion with Jello infused with banana slices...you figure that after 10 years running and nobody touching it that they'd pick a new dessert...
ReplyDeleteThis is gggreat!!! It shows you love what you are doing.
ReplyDelete(I won't eat jello anymore, regardless of the shape- since I found out it's powdered bone)
I LOVE the way she's staring at the jello mold so intently! Great!
ReplyDeleteIf I had been invited I would have eaten some, along as I could have lots and lots of whipped cream, ummm. This post is so funny and the comments are almost as funny as the post, The portait on the wall is great. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHooo! That's great! Ffffffunny!
ReplyDeleteHa !
ReplyDeleteCherry jello-- what's not to like?
Great collage!
Well- I looked it up- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelatin
ReplyDelete- not exactly powdered bone- but still kinda gross.
Cute! Of course, they didn't want to cut into it because it was such a work of art, but still...
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate when that happens! Nobody 'preciates a really classy jello mold anymore. Gotta say, though, that mold looks like it might have been borrowed from one of Madonna's old get-ups. Maybe that says more about where my mind is then about the jello mold. Great overall card, seriously.
ReplyDeleteI hate when that happens! Actually I do. Nice work.
