IF: Rejection


I love making cards! I have a line of these collage cards that I keep adding to. There are so many copyright free image sources out there waiting to be made into something. Anyway, these funny cards fly out of my studio and help me pay the rent so I have a place to do my art. I love it when that happens :)

Jello anyone?

    I love these kinds of cards. Seriously, there aren't enough of them out there. I think you need the right blend of imagination, irreverence, and an eye for vintage pieces. Great work! :)

    Imagine my surprise to find that the completely indistinct - or so I thunked! - project created in my origami class, was actually an exact replica of Nan's Jell-O! :D

    Reminds me of granny. She always made a jello thingie. We would pretend to eat it by dumping some of it in the trash when she wasn't looking. Great card!!!!!!

    Maybe she should try putting pineapple chunks in it... love the dry humor! One time (when we were kids) my brother and I decided that we were going to eat our entire dinner without chewing, we must have been having soup or something that night. Well, anyway, for dessert we had jello with pineapple and my brother choked on it. Kids sure are dumb sometimes!

    Reminds me of when someone shows up at the family reunion with Jello infused with banana slices...you figure that after 10 years running and nobody touching it that they'd pick a new dessert...

    Don't you just hate when that happens! Nobody 'preciates a really classy jello mold anymore. Gotta say, though, that mold looks like it might have been borrowed from one of Madonna's old get-ups. Maybe that says more about where my mind is then about the jello mold. Great overall card, seriously.
