IF: Ghost Waves

I was initially going to do a different illustration, but this morning as I was walking the beach with Emma, my dog, I marveled at the ghostly mist coming off the waves." WAIT!! I'll do this for Illustration Friday!", I told Emma. She marveled at the idea. All I had on hand were a few bottles of paint. My colored pencils and everything else are still packed, waiting to be moved to the new studio. So..here it is, a very quick sketch. I may still do my initial idea because 'IF' has become a new addiction!

  8. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water. Great take on the ghosty topic.
I like to run my ideas past my dog also. Except my dog is imaginary, and pickled. Hehe..

  12. I never would have thought of it; ghostly mist rising from the waves before they crash on the sand. Unique, and nicely done. Thanks for commenting on my "Wind" illustration.

  13. I happen to know the artist personally. Not only is she talented, but she's the most thoughtful, generous person I've ever known. Love her...love her work.
